$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install kadu 

kadu is installed in your system.

Make ensure the kadu package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep kadu *

You will get with kadu package name, version, architecture and description in a table

kadu package basic information:
